Children of Joy! Preschool opened in 2001 with 80 children. We are a Christian, play based developmental program. Our curriculum is literature based. Enrichment activities include weekly chapel, music and motor classes. Special activities and events include Parent Orientation; Meet the Teacher; Open House; Pajama Party; Thanksgiving Feast; Holiday Parties; Bookfair; Grandparents Coffee; Christmas Family Event; Chili Cook-Off; and End of Year Event.

Opened in 1986, our school provides a rich, complete Montessori experience. We have an AMS primary teacher with a MA in Psychology, an AMI primary teacher, an NAMC with a BA in Liberal Arts/Music Theory, and one Child Development Specialist toddler teacher. Our certified teachers have 21 years combined experience in the Montessori classroom, and there is very little turnover. In addition to caring for minds, we care for bodies as well, with healthy meals prepared by our outstanding food specialist. She creates wonderful meals for the classes, and encourages children to at least try different things. We have many children that are vegetarians and she accommodates their needs. She also enjoys interacting with the children. Parents are invited to participate in many events throughout the school year.
